when people ask me why am i working so much, i don know how to answer them.
when i htink money bring me the ultimate security, i don know wat it mean that become of me.
am i materialistic? M i paranoid? what happen to me.
so there is horrible things happening in new orlean, and people are dissatisfy with govt. I don know wat it is about, don wanna find out. I dont know politics. and what if bush is really hypocratic, he is stil the president. here we have afgan war, terrorism, natural disaster, what does it say of america. and what can we do to change it. everyone decade there comes revolution. it was when woman and black were allowed to vote. It was when gay people were given false hope and got there wedding certificate cancelled the night morning after. it is funny to think about it, when decades later, some people will give our generation a name. like, the baby boomer, the lost generation, and what would we be. it is interesting. when people analyse writers and thye would point out, 2000s is a time of turmoil and blah blah, and you gonna keep taht in mind, so people have a mentality that is generally distrusting to the govt, yet their nationality grow stronger in a disasterous time, so they kinda love their country in a painful, disaapointed yet optimistic wat. there we have a revival of american dream, becoz it is time when govt do nothing, that little people become heros and can be heros if you try hard enough, so we have all these TV series, majority reality TV, to make real ppl beocme celebrity, same in the news.
this i wat i think about when i got outa my american lit class. when hemmingway was so wounded after the WW1, when everone was so wounded, and we have to find out how wounded they are, and why they are dyfunctional. "I distrust frank and simple people, especially those with stories that held together"( sun also rises) I wonder wat would we say in this generation. people are angry yet they love, they are the paradoxical one, they love too much they ache.
