here come stella's history lesson., after reading the whole book of one of my required text....i really feel something about american history, no wonder my teacher recommand this book so much....

American was founded by this denomination of british protestant called puritans, who denounce or were denounced by the roman catholic in england and seek their haven in the wilderness. and these ppl hope to establish a nation that is free n democratic n holy ...their doctrine belive that they have to live in this sinful world yet do not live a sinful life.....that they live ther puritan way and if their experimental nation does prosper in the end, it will be an omen from god that they had done wat god desired and they are the chosen one, and from there, they can shine god's grace back to england, or even, to the rest of the world....

and they did succeeded, from massachusett colony to boston, and 300 years passed until today....that, the almighty Americans, think that, they are the chosen one, who do right in a world that does wrong. does it not sounds familiar when since WW2 and the cold war. that american wanted to become the " world police", like the only one who know wat is right n tell ppl wat to do against the evil.........and until now, USA still monopolising world politics, "maintaining world peace" ......with the same intention originated from compassion yet they appear arrogant, jsut as they appear "holy" ,and " god chosen" 300 years ago.....isnt it cool~?
and, england had been US's ally during the World wars....and in the first place, it was the british gentlemen who colonised america, and those gentlemen build their own home there, and don wan to go home anymore.....it was the england government who disappointed these free, "rebellious" and determined adventurers, forced them to set up something out of no where, and then when they prosper, they become independence, they become no longer british but a new race, then the GREAT BRITAIN used to be, start allying this "misfits /rebels" used to be......kinda ironic....and watever, it is still.....cool~
